My name is Dan and I like animals and aspects of nature which is why I want to talk about the environmental concerns at the moment.
People have always been using natural resources for the good of society but eventually it will get to the point where it will be disastrous for the entire planet. Mainly through industry and engine vehicle fumes that poison the air and warm the globe. The damage worth noting is the deadly fumes will deplete the ozone and if that happens, we would not be protected from the sun’s beams.
Overpopulation also contributes to this issue, as too many inhabitants quickly decreases the amount of resources for their needs and further increases the loss of biodiversity when trees are cut down for urbanisation. It is not fair for animals to lose their homes just to make way for people’s homes. There must be a balance in that regard which is only done in a few parts of the world in cities such as Singapore.
The last issue I want to talk about is poaching. The thought that innocent animals are being killed for sport and for materials is heart-breaking. It is critically endangering the magnificent wildlife on our planet and destroying the imagination of those with a fascination for other life-forms. Therefore, it is imperative that I, and many other individuals take action in saving our beautiful Earth.
