Hi I am Gracie! I am 12 years old and I am in foster care. Some of my hobbies include going to the gym and horse riding.
I go to the gym 5 times a week, and I usually do weights, and I enjoy cardio. Going to the gym improves my health and fitness and also helps my mental health.
Up until recently I did dance classes for about two months. I did Contemporary dance and I took part in a competition in Chippenham. We did a dance show celebrating 150 years of the dancing academy Chippenham. I enjoyed it because I got to hang out with my friends and work together on the show.
I’ve been interested in horses and horse riding since I was 5. My aunt runs a stable in Highworth and they have a field to themselves. There’s a horse around the corner that has a moustache and a beard! My favourite horse to ride was called Edward and he was always really happy. I did horse riding for about five years.
Now I’m in care and I am doing fine. If you are in care just remember there are over 70,000 Foster children in the UK alone so don’t worry, you aren’t alone. I can still play games and have fun even if I am in care. iDare…to try something new!
