Becoming A Movie Editor!

I have always loved making videos for Tick Tok, and I think its AMAZING how you can get HUNDREDS of likes within minutes of posting something! I've even made some for the #iDare magazine, and they helped increase our followers, so I dedided to look into making videos more professionally.
I have made some fandom edits where I took clips from my favourite shows (like Vampire diaries!) and made them into a short video, like a movie trailer. I did it all on my phone, and it looked awesome!
Then I spoke to some of the volunteers in The Platform Project who had experience of making professional videos, and they gave me some ideas about how to do thinks like cut clips to sound tracks.
And THEN Sadie organised a video call with someone she knows in London called Alice Powell...who is a PROPER self-employed video editor, and she has worked on loads of real films and documentaries that have won awards at film festivals, including the Game of Thrones documentary!!!
She told me how she worked her way up in her career, and what things I can practice to get better and better.
So I decided to get my own website - www.GlowingCaroline.me, and post the edits I have done on my Instagram and TickTok pages, and guess how many followers I have got already...
1.3 MILLION FOLLOWERS!!!

The #iDARE youth publication is a a fully funded project open to any young people aged 13-20 (or up to 24 if disabled) based around Swindon.
