I interviewed someone called Neil Chamberlain and he deals in cyber security.
He started with describing it in simple terms and then his history of how he got into it. Neil then talked about social media, mostly about how it is useful for people to get in touch with their peers yet also how it can be dangerous to some when they come into contact with anonymous users who could potentially be dangerous in person.
In relation to that, Neil gave definitions of two things called a fire wall and a trace-route. A firewall is a protective barrier to keep out unwanted parts of the web from reaching someone's internet and a trace-route is a way of finding bad calls through telephone lines.
He also mentioned about courses that train people about cyber security for anyone interested in the topic.
Finally, Neil gave advice on how we can protect ourselves from identity theft/frauds simply through the use of coding and security checks.
