Platform Project Showcase 2021

Tyler Goulding • 20 October 2021

14th October 2021

The showcase that we had was the first that The Platform Project has ever showcased and it was to show off what the interns here had done over their time so far. Hopefully, the interns can reach out to some clients or businesses that could help them with their chosen path.

Other than myself there were other interns that set up stalls:

Jamie Shaw Graphic Design: the work he did for IPSUM and some graphic designed T-shirts with his website on show as well, also his work with resin moulds.

  • Kieran Williamson Graphic Design: he had his printed mug designs and some album cover designs that he created; he had his website on show as well.
  • Rueben Bell Videographer: the videos he created for a charity/business and his website with business cards looking for clients.
  • Tyler Goulding Custom Art Design: created custom-designed geo stag mugs, custom printed T-shirt designs, and some refreshed logo designs for possible businesses like Instagram, Snapchat, Spar, Twitter, McDonald's, and Dominos. I also showcased my concrete plant pots.
  • Jack Mitchell Gardener / Flat Pack Builder: he had a coffee table and other woodwork designs and a printed mug for his ‘all about him’ project.
  • Josh Tomes Article Writer: on his stall, he had his activism magazine, called Realm Chronicles, that he made and some printed mugs that had his title for his magazine on.

Moreover, that evening the Platform Project hosted an awards ceremony to give certificates to interns that have finished in the past and to see where they have gone on to do since they left the Platform Project.

It was really wonderful a lot of fun and enjoyment we had the Olive Tree gift us cakes and snacks for the evening. This showcase was the chance to do some networking of our names and services we could all offer.

If you are interested in any of these services or becoming an intern then get in contact with The Platform Project through our website.
