Celebrating a birthday in Lockdown

My name is Emma Hazle. I am 21 years old.
It was my birthday two months ago on May 20th.. I was meant to go to Disneyland as an early birthday present but then it got cancelled because of the lock down. Instead I went to Coate Water on my birthday I was allowed to invite two of my friends.
I went to the grass bit and had a little picnic and a cake to share which was nice , then after that we packed everything up and went on a little walk.
Me and my best friend Molly had a race in our wheelchairs and of course I won!!!
It was kind of my first time out since lock-down and it wasn’t that weird for me and there weren’t that many people at Coate Water so it was quiet.
So after I went on a walk we headed to the van and went home and sat outside in the garden. I sat on the swing for a first time ever and it was fun. And more friends came over to my house to see me and give me more presents and cards.
I was disappointed that I didn’t go to Disneyland as it was my first time going and my first time on the plane. Two of my friends and my friend mum and my carer Lorraine, her daughter and daughter sons was there.
At the end of the day I felt happy
